Saving Lives Through Technology

Values & aims

It’s not just what we do that’s important. It’s also how and why we do it.

We help save lives through technology –  radio-based emergency communication systems for organisations looking to make their buildings as safe as possible for everyone.

We place high value in the areas of excellence, people focus and responsibility. We strive to be recognised in these areas, and we proudly place these values at the centre of everything we do.

Our values:

Excellence

  • RDesign, manufacture and install high-quality products and services
  • RInvest in knowledge and innovation

People focus

  • RValue and include everyone equally
  • RMake a meaningful contribution to our communities

Responsibility

  • RWork safely
  • ROperate with sustainability in mind

Environmental, Social & Governance aims

We have several goals that are built around Environmental, Social and Governance  (ESG) principles and support our wider values.

Putting these central to everything we do is an important factor in helping to ensure we operate responsibly and fairly.

Environmental

We aim to reduce our environmental impact every year, even while continuing to grow our business.

%

of energy used in our office is from renewables

We have reduced our CO2e/turnover by 59% (from 3.05, to 1.25 from base year 2021).

We’re exploring a number of additional tactics to achieve even more improvements in the future.

Broadly, these future plans include making improvements in the following categories:

  • \Transportation
  • \Product packaging

Social

We aim to actively support a world where everyone is welcomed, valued and treated equally.

We have a strong focus on providing equal opportunities for all, and making meaningful contributions to our communities.

This focus starts at recruitment and continues throughout our operations.

Our key criteria for selection, promotion, training and reward is simple; the ability to do the job to the required standard.

We’re committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.

Our social vision is to be recognised as a major contributor to the wellbeing of disabled people.

We’re incredibly proud to be a supplier of products designed to improve safety for people with disabilities and reduced mobility, deafness and hearing loss.
