From 25 September-1 October team members will get walking and running in the name of wellbeing and charity – with the aim of completing one million steps in total!

Health and wellbeing is incredibly important for everyone. The average person in the UK walks about 3,000-4,000 steps every day… but there’s lots of evidence that increasing the amount you walk has tons of health benefits.

In the week commencing 25 September we’re embarking on a company event where participants will challenge themselves to increase their steps and be more active.

So far, 20 people from across the company (including some brilliant volunteers from our parent company, Sdiptech) have pledged to get involved.

Working together, our overall aim is to complete an incredible one million steps between us!

Raising funds for charity

This is a huge group challenge, and we’re pleased to also be doing it as a sponsored event.

Money raised will go to our chosen charity for this year, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is known for training dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds. Its work has wide-ranging impact helping keep people safe and reconnect with life.

A group effort

Rain or shine, we’ll be getting out there getting active. By setting this challenge we hope to support staff wellbeing, have fun as a team and raise funds for a brilliant charity too!”
