Have you got a project with requirements for fire safety systems for disabled people?

Jun 19, 2020

As we move through June and slowly out of tight lockdown restrictions, the construction industry has seen a further increase in the re-opening of construction sites and stalled projects.

Here at Alerter Group, we have put systems and procedures in place to ensure we can meet your needs to specify and, quote projects efficiently and accurately.

What COVID-19 procedures do we have in place?

We are now implementing video-call meetings with current customers and potential clients. This ensures we can still provide you with technical information on our products, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to specify and quote your projects.

We use a system called Microsoft Teams, which allows our Consultants to provide technical presentations, videos, and exchange drawing files and specifications.

We have strict procedures in place for any essential site visits from our consultants, adhering to all Government guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

We can quote a project without visiting site

Such is the nature of our systems; Alerter Group can accurately price solutions in multiple ways. We can efficiently and accurately assess construction drawings and compile project costs and outline system specifications from this information alone. For our Deaf Alerter system, we can also review any existing structures through programmes like Google Earth or using Google Maps to assess the size of the building and produce a cost from there.

Why radio is perfect for the current situation

Our products, Deaf Alerter and Refuge Alerter, incorporating our accessible toilet alarms systems, use radio-based technology, aiding compliance with the Equality Act 2010, Health and Safety legislation, and relevant Building Regulations.

Installing our radio-based solutions eliminates the need for disruptive, lengthy, and costly installation of hard-wired systems. The efficient installation of our products by our specialist Radio Engineers means our time on site is significantly reduced.

How can we help you?

If you have a project on-site or upcoming project in development and design with the requirement for fire safety systems for disabled people, we are the ideal solution to be able to assess your requirements, provide technical and specification guidance, deliver accurate costs and install our innovative wireless solutions.

Deaf Alerter is our radio-based fire alarm system for Deaf and hard of hearing people, which guarantees full building coverage.

Refuge Alerter is our radio-based Emergency Voice Communication system (EVC) which aids the safe evacuation of people from a disabled refuge area in a building in the event of an emergency.
