Hayley – Operations Director
Operations Director Hayley’s one of our longest-standing team members – she’s been working at Alerter Group for 22 of the company’s 25 years!
Video transcript: So I started in 2003 which was three years after the company started. The company was very different to how it is now. It was a very small company. There wasn’t very many of us.
I started as a part-time Junior Accountant / part-time Receptionist.
I decided I wanted to do the project side of the business. So moved over, got promoted to Engineering Supervisor, Operations Manager, and then Operations Director.
It feels really good being part of something that has a 25 year legacy. Yeah, it’s brilliant.
Her Alerter Group story has seen her carry out a number of jobs throughout the company. If you need a question answering, Hayley’s undoubtedly your person!
Originally starting out in the finance and reception team, Hayley had a keen interest in operations – meaning when a job opportunity came up, she jumped at the chance to move departments.
She was later promoted to Engineering Supervisor, than Operations Manager, and then to Operations Director.
Today, she oversees everything engineering- and installation-related at the company.
She says:
“I think our customers think that we are reliable and dependable. Quite a few of the customers have been with us a very long time.
The proudest moment is when I can send that email saying that we finished, the customer’s happy, the job’s done.”
